Gyujteménytörténet - Bene János: Beszámoló jelentés a Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg Megyei Múzeumok Igazgatósága 2011. évi tevékenységéről

Beszámoló jelentés Report on the activity of the Directorate of Museums of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County in 2011 As usually, in 2011 our most important task was to preserve the operability of the directorate of the county museums. From the financial support of the county self-government it was possible to cover only 80 percents of the labour costs. We were not able even to plan the operational costs. Among such circumstances we are proud to report that - thanks to the creative and self-devoting work of the 1 03 employees - the directorate of the county museums has not only preserved its operability, but was able to close the year of 2011 without passive debts. On December I s 1 2011, the Jósa András Museum Day we took farewell from our former „master", the Self-Government of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County that maintained the county museums for almost 50 years. In our institution we arranged the planned programs, opened our exhibitions. Our domestic and international projects were fulfilled according to the plans; we have also prepared the project applications for 2012. We finished our Hungarian-Romanian cross-border projects supported by the European Union: Castellum, Samcult and Patrimonium I—II; currently these projects are in the account period. From April l s ( 2011, the general assembly of the county assigned the county Tourinform office to the directorate of the county museums. This integration included 2 employees, that is how our allowed headcount has grown to 103. The integration went on according to the directions. Nine chapters of the operational report observe the activity of the directorate of the county museums in 2011. In this year 92 studies, 20 independent volumes, booklets, 20 booklets on monuments were published, all written by our colleagues. We arranged 97 exhibitions. In 2011 our museums had 157,712 visitors. Translated by Valeria Kulcsár János BENE Jósa András Museum Nyíregyháza H^40l Pf. 57. e-mail: benejan@jam.nyirbone.hu 51
