A Mátraszőlős—királydombi kelta temető (1957—1958) archaeozoológiai vizsgálata Dog. In male grave 42 there was a skull of a dog split into two. From female grave 58 a caninus of a dog came to light. Sheep. In female grave 57 a bone of the fore scapula and a bone of the back limb of a sheep were found. The complete bodies of pigs (8 pieces) and the head of a dog split into two, the 19 split heads - set of ribs - limbs placed in „anatomic order" can be considered to be sacrificial gifts. Sets of ribs (15 pieces) and complete, only fore- and/or back-limbs could get into graves as food offer­ings. The latter include also scapula and limb of the sheep. In the case of domestic fowl the „whole chicken" is sacrificial food, wing and limb are food offerings.
