A Mátraszőlős—királydombi kelta temető (1957—1958) archaeozoológiai vizsgálata Dog. In male grave 42 there was a skull of a dog split into two. From female grave 58 a caninus of a dog came to light. Sheep. In female grave 57 a bone of the fore scapula and a bone of the back limb of a sheep were found. The complete bodies of pigs (8 pieces) and the head of a dog split into two, the 19 split heads - set of ribs - limbs placed in „anatomic order" can be considered to be sacrificial gifts. Sets of ribs (15 pieces) and complete, only fore- and/or back-limbs could get into graves as food offerings. The latter include also scapula and limb of the sheep. In the case of domestic fowl the „whole chicken" is sacrificial food, wing and limb are food offerings.
