Művészettörténet - Vofkori Mária: Imre Nagy of Zsögöd. The painter and the man

Vofkori Mária Zsögöd and the man who belonged to it, the peasant of Zsögöd, in the radiant light of the basin of Csík. He had the conviction that the Universal and the Divine is as present in Zsögöd as in the most famous parts of the world, and his mission would be to express this to the world through his paintings. Looking at his works (he had approximately 7000 of them) we have to realize that he succeeded. He died in Zsögöd in 1976. We have to remember him, and not let him be forgotten unfairly, just because he had the courage to choose his village as the place of his life-work.
