Edény Kőröshegyről PÉTER GERGELY NÉMETH: CELTIC SWORD AT KŐRÖSHEGY Resume In 1987 a Celtic sword was found as sparse remains in a provenance at Birkaaklok. During the surveys fragments of Celtic ceramics were found (pi. VI. 1). The remaining sheath fragments (fig. Ml. and lll-IV. pre- and post-restored condition) preserved masterfully engraved decoration. Besides the representation of the de Navarro II. type dragon-pair the characteristics of the Hungarian Sword Style can also be noticed. The sword found at Kőröshegy belongs to the group represented by the swords from Cernon-sur Coole, Drna and Halimba. The manufacturing of the sword from Kőröshegy can be dated to the beginning of the 3rd Century. The other data on Kőröshegy are uncertain; the pot on fig. VI. might have been found at the same place. PETER GERGELY NÉMETH: DAS KELTISCHE SCHWERT VON KŐRÖSHEGY Zusammenfassug Im Jahre 1987 kam am Fundort Kőröshegy-Birkaaklok als Streufund ein keltisches Schwert zum Vorschein. Im Zuge von Geländebegehungen auf diesem Gebiet wurden Fragmente keltischer Keramik gefunden. (Taf. VI. 1) Die erhalten gebliebenen Bruchstücke (Taf. I.-Il. und lll.-IV. - Zustand vor und nach der Restaurierung) bewahrten ihre meisterhaft gravierten Verzierungen. Neben der Darstellung des Drachenpaares vom Typ de Navarro II. sind auch Kennzeichen des ungarischen Schwertstils zu erkennen. Das Schwert von Kőröshegy gehört zu dem Kreis, den die Schwerter aus Cernon-sur Coole, Drna und Halimba vertreten. Die Anfertigung des Koröshegyer Schwertes kann auf Anfang des 3. Jh. angesetzt werden. Die übrigen, sich auf Kőröshegy beziehenden Daten sind unsicher; das an der Tafel VI. vorgestellte Gefäß kam eventuell an einem Ort zusammen mit den Schwert zum Vorschein.
