To resolve the problems, Jäch is submitting an application to the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature (ICZN) to propose an appropriate family-group name. As the ICZN Opinion has not yet been published, the family name Microspondae is, for the time being, retained in the present paper to follow LAWRENCE & NEWTON (1995).
