Contribution to the Symphyta fauna of the Juniper Woodland of Bares, Hungary {Hyjnenoptera) Lajos ZOMBORI Since the declaration in 1975 of the natura reservation area of Bares an extensive zoological research programme has been in full swing,. Owing to the relative scarcity of sawflies in the past ten years only 143 specimens belonging to 45 species were captured. Although no species new to the sawfly fauna of Hungary has been collected, several data usefully contribute to the knowledge and better understanding of sawflies'in Hungary. Obviously, this small number of specimens and species does not stimulate, nor even allow the author to venture in drawing any kind of conclusions either to this region or to our country as a whole as fas as sawflies are concerned. Future collectings will decisively influence the prsenet state of affairs, perphaps after then a survey might be attempted. The locality labels are cited in full, as they appear on the labels under each specimen.
