пак sikerült megállapítani egyik zsákmányállatát is, a Chrysops caecutienst /Tabanidae/. A terület domináns Asilidae faja'a Philonicus albicep's /MEIGEN, 1820/, amely homokos területekre jellemző. Stratiomyidae, Rhagionhbe and Asilidae (Diptera) fauna of the Juniper Woodland at Barcs, Hungary József MAJER On the basis of seven years investigation, the Stratiomyidae, Rhagionidae and Asilidae fauna are summarized from the Juniper Woodland at Bares, Hungary. 8 Stratiomyid, 7 Rhagionid and 11 Asilid species were collected on 10 localities 1 . Although the Brachicera /Diptera/ fauna of this nature preservation area proved to be poor, 2 new Asilid species /Lepthiarthrus brevirostris MEIGEN, 1804 and Cyrtopogon lateralis /FALLEN, 1814/ were found new to the Hungarian fauna. 3 rather rare Stratiomyid species were captured /Beris chalybaeta [FÖRSTER, 1767], Sargus cuprarius [LINNAEUS, 1758] and Sargus iridatus [SOPOLI, 1763]/, which had been collected less than 5 localities of Hungary.
