Lateral ocelli from the inner orbits almost their own diameter; the distance between anterior ocellus about seven times that with eye margins. Vertex rounded, gently convex. Frons impression large, well margined with middle carina reaching half of its length. Head almost bare, all over punctured, except cheeks and smooth frontal depression. Scape not curved, excavated towards tip; pedicel pearshaped; first flagellar segment almost pear-shaped ; second the longest of funicle, subcylindrical; third almost quadrate; fourth transverse. Club five-jointed; first transverse; г^а —^úi 0 nes subquadrate, last joint a little narrowing to the apex. Length to width ratio of antennái segments (magnification: 20X5): 5,8:1,2; 1,6:1,2; 0,9:0,8; 1:0,9; 0,6:0,9; 0,5:1,2; 0,9:1,4; 1,3:1,5; 1,6:1,7; 2,2:1,5. Thorax about as long as wide (5,5:5,3), all over finely, almost faintly punctured. Mesoscutum transverse, parapsidal furrows wanting; scutellum and metanotum semicircular; length of former about two times that of the latter, covering propodeum visible from above only laterally. Pleurae punctured. Wings fumate; forewings not reaching apex of second tergite. Proportion of femora, tibiae and tarsi of fore, middle and hind legs respectively: 2,9:3,1:4,1; 2,4:3,3:4; 2,7:2,8:4. Abdomen barely shorter than head and thorax together (7,5:8,5). Petiole about five times as broad as long, punctured. Length of second tergite equal to its greatest width (5,2:5,1), all over extremely finely striated and punctured. Following tergites building a short triangle, finely punctured. Length mm 0,8. Male and biology unknown. Holotypenumber: 2959. Locality: Darány, borókás (Festucetum pseudovinae with Juniperus communis), pihenőerdő, 11. VIII. 1976, collected by sweeping. Closely related with Telenomus punctiventris С G. Thomson, i860, but it differs from it by the form of forewing, by sulpture of abdomen. Telenomus paraothus sp. n. $ Body blackish; antennae and legs dark brown except brown 1-4 tarsal joints. Wings fumate covered with short and brown hairs; veins brownish.
