30 Natura Somogyiensis Corrections to Pushkin's article Pushkin (2019) has recently published a paper entitled “Revision of the Material of Collections of the Carpet Beetle (Dermestidae). Part 1. Faunis tic Review”. Unfortunately, in the article, there are many errors, misspellings and wrong identifications: page 8: Paranovelsis punktatus - error in spelling: the correct spelling is P. punctatus page 8,9, 10: Dermestes mustelinus - not mustelinus [mustelinus is distributed in west Mediterranean Region] = D. kaszabi page 9: Dermestes fasciventris from Thailand - not fasciiventris [that species occurs in central Asia only] page 9: Attagenus suspiciosus from Thailand - not [the species doesn't occur in southeastern Asia, most likely mislabelled or misidentified] page 9: Anthrenus latefasciatus from Thailand - not [the species doesn't occur in southeastern Asia, most likely mislabelled or misidentified] page 10: Attagenus aristidis from Kazakhstan - not aristidis \aristidis restricted to north Africa] page 11, 12: Attagenus bifasciatus from U.S.A. - not bifasciatus [the species doesn’t occur in the Nearctic Region] = Most likely it refers to a member of the genus Novelsis sp. page 11, 12: Dermestes szekessyi from U.S.A. - not szekessyi [the species doesn’t occur in the Nearctic Region] = Probably it refers to D. rattus tristis page 13: Dermestes sardaous asiaticus error in spelling: the correct name is sardous page 13: Attagenus unicolor simulanus error in spelling: the correct name is simulanus page 13: Attagenus molitor from Turkey - not molitor [the species distributed in Mongolia, China, Kazakhstan and NE Iran] page 13: Dermestes (Mantandonia) error in spelling: the correct name is Montandonia page 14: Attagenus bifasciatus from Armenia - not bifasciatus = Attagenus pulcher page 15: Attagenus londisimus error in spelling: the correct name is longissimus (= Attagenus longipennis) page 15: Dermestes pardalis from Turkmenistan [probably mislabelled or misidentified, the species distributed in western Mediterranean Region] page 16: Attagenus aristidis from Russia - not aristidis [aristidis restricted to north Africa] page 16: Attagenus scalaris from Caucasus - not scalaris [that species is distributed in Egypt, Libya, Israel and Saudi Arabia] page 17: Attagenus simplex from Bukhara - not simplex [that species is distributed in Mediterranean Region] pages 18,19: Dermestes valpinus (4x) error in spelling: the correct name is vulpinus [= Dermestes maculatus] page 18: Anthrenus latefasciatus from Algeria - not latefasciatus [regards Anthrenus dor satus or goliath since latefasciatus doesn’t occur in the Mediterranean Region] page 19: Attagenus ionicus from Tashkent (Uzbekistan) [probably wrong determination, the species is known from Greece, Turkey, Crete, Russia: Dagestan] page 19: Attagenus niseteoi Dejean, nomen nudum - not a valid taxon page 19: Dermestes dimidiatus from Spain [probably mislabelled or misidentified, that species is distributed in western Mediterranean Region]
