Abstract: Two species Meloe (Eurymeloe) mediterranem J. Müller, 1925 and Meloe (Treiodous) autumnalis autumnalis A. G. Olivier, 1797 are newly recorded from Lebanon. A list of species is presented. Keywords: Coleoptera, Meloidae, Meloini, Meloe, Lebanon, Faunistics, Palaeartic Region Introduction The genus Meloe Linnaeus, 1758 currently includes 38 species and subspecies known from Europe and Middle Asia (Bologna 2008); from Lebanon known only three species (Chikatunov 2000, Bologna 2008). The second genus Trichomeloe Reitter, 1911 comprises 6 species distributed in the Mediterranean subregion, one species is known from Lebanon (Bologna 2008, Bologna & Di Giulio 2008). In the present note, two species are reported from Lebanon for the first time. Results Meloe (Eurymeloe) mediterranem J. Müller, 1925 (Figs. 1) Materia! examined: Lebanon, Bekaa El Gharbi, Machghara, 33°37’N 35°46’E, 14. xi.2017, 1 male, collected on the street near the house, E. Nassir-Eddin leg., J. Háva det. et. coll., M. Bologna revid. Distribution: Species known from Europe, North Africa, And in Asia: Iran, Israel, Turkey (Bologna 2008), new to Lebanon.
