UHERKOVICH Á: A MECSEK-HEGYSÉG PUHATESTŰ FAUNÁJA 121 Further data to the distribution of mollusc species in the Mecsek Mountains (South Hungary) ÁKOS UHERKOVICH During mostly the first decade of the 2000 's, I visited the different parts of Mecsek Mountains frequently. These excursions yielded a bulk of malacological samples. Altogether 101 species (belonging to 36 families) were found in 284 sites. No slugs (Milacidae, Boettgerillidae, Limacidae, Agrolimacidae, Arionidae) were collected and published here. A list of species is given with localities. This material contained more than 3500 units in collections of Janus Pannonius Mueum (Pécs), Somogy County Museum (Kaposvár) and that of author. Nine species proved to be new for the fauna of Mecsek Mountais. Most remarkable species are Pomatias rivulare and P. elegáns, both live in NE part of mountain, in antropogene biotopes. These rare and protected species can be very abundant in some sites. During the last decades some artifical ponds were formed in NW part of mountains. Some invasive bivalves colonized these waters, e.g. Dreissena polymorpha and Sinanodonta woodiana, and they became the most dominante species.
