SCM) Remarks: This species is most probably more widespread in the eastern parts of Turkey, as is revealed by our new data. This species was described only 40 years ago, and is not treated by all of the authors as a separate taxon (Aspöck et al. 1984, 2001). Kocák & Kemal (2002, 2008) and Ari et al. (2008) mention this species as L. extensa although the species in the published photographs is clearly L. palmonii. It flies from the end of May to August. Lertha schmidti (H. Aspöck & U. It is also an endemic species for Inner Anatolia. It flies in June.
