Armadillidiidae Brandt, 1833 Armadillidium vulgare Latreille, 1804 A mediterrán régióban őshonos, ahonnét a világ minden tájára szétterjedt, kozmopolita. Hazánkban közönséges faj, nem mutat élőhely-preferenciát. Armadillidium zenckeri Brandt, 1833 Kelet- és Közép-Európából ismert faj. Szorosan kötődik a sasos mocsárrétekhez. Országszerte kevés publikált adata van, de intenzív gyűjtések során sok helyről elő fog kerülni.
