Cancelled species from the national lists or from the fauna of the Carpathian Basin Species cancelled from the Slovak list Heterarthrus aceris (Kaltenbach, 1856): Misidentification in ROLLER (1999a). Correct: Heterarthrus wuestneii (Konow, 1905). Nematus polaris (Holmgren, 1883): ROLLER (1999e) misinterpreted BENES (1962) who had recorded Amauronemtaus leucopyga Lindqv. Correct: Nematus leucopyga (Lindqvist, 1944). Pristiphora robusta (Konow, 1895): Misidentification in ROLLER (1999e). Correct: Pristiphora compressa (Hartig, 1837). Pseudodineura parvula (Klug, 1816): Misidentification in ROLLER (1993). Correct Pseudodineura fuscula (Klug, 1816). Tenthredo jelochovtseli Vassilev, 1971: Misinterpretation in ROLLER (1999e). Correct Tenthredo neobesa Zombori, 1980. Species cancelled from the Hungarian list Dolerus melanopterus Konow, 1888: The single Hungarian specimen reported from Paks (ZOMBORI 1982a) proved to be a larger Dolerus germanicus (Fabricius, 1775). Dolerus possilensis Cameron, 1882: Misidentification in HARIS (1998b). Correct: Dolerus nitens Zaddach, 1859. Tenthredo largiflava Enslin, 1918: Misidentification in ZOMBORI (1996a). Correct: Tenthredo notha Klug, 1817 and Tenthredo brevicornis (Konow, 1886). Pristiphora alpestris (Konow, 1903): Misidentification in HARIS (1998b). A small undescribed species with alpestris-type sawsheath and white abdominal sternites. It runs to Pristiphora retusa (C. G. Thomson, 1871) in HARIS (2003). During the rearrangement of the Kaposvár collection this small and fragile specimen was destroyed and its abdomen lost. Further, earlier cancelled species: see in HARIS 2001b.
