The results of the trapping There were 26 848 trap nights altogether between 2001 and 2004, during this period we captured 86 individuals of seven predator species (red fox, weasel, marten, beech marten, common polecat, wild cat, cat). The average capture effectiveness counted for the whole period was 0.32 (n=4, SD=0.0819). The obvious presence of other two species the ermine and the otter was proved by footprints and excrements with observations apart from the trapping.
