Kopin Katalin: Idővonal. Szentendrei Képtár, 2013. június 13 - augusztus 31. - MűvészetMalom kiadványai 6. (Szentendre, 2014)
By reviving an old tradition with a new concept, the Ferenczy Museum is organising a contemporary photo exhibition, inviting mainly artists from Szentendre and the nearby settlements. The exhibition is part of the ’SzeKKo’ series launched by the Ferenczy Museum in the summer of 2009. Afterfine art, applied art, sculpture and architecture, this year’s exhibition is focusing on photography. Apart from fine-art photography, subjective, documentary photography is represented, as well. The exhibition provides an opportunity for several generations to show their works, therefore the difference between the artistic approach of generations becomes visible. Moreover, the exhibition sheds light on the fact that, besides other fields of art, photography has had a characteristic and progressive profile in the art topography of the region. We would like to express our thanks to the invited artists for actively taking part in the successful realisation of the exhibition and displaying their latest works created for the show. Photography is the expression of personal attitude, ideological creed as well as an excellent medium for artistic communication. Hopefully, our exhibition will help the public learn more about the photographers working in Szentendre and its region, and will be followed by further individual and collective photography exhibitions.
