Balogh László friss müveivel egy újabb állomáshoz érkezett ezen az úton. Már nem csak szintetizálja a strukturális képépítő logikát az organikus formák világával. Egy újfajta stílusdualizmust figyelhetünk meg, amelyben az adott témához igazítja művészetének kifejezőeszközeit. Marad a letisztult formáknál, de a tiszta poézis megélésekor már kevésbé fontos az egyszerű homogén színfoltok létrehozása. Már nem lényeges, hogy az a bizonyos vonal tűpontosan végződjön az aranymetszésben, mivel saját személye adja a kompozíció hangsúlyát, így az alkotó és a festmény egymás mellett és egymásra hat, egymást határozza meg. Résumé Munkácsy Prize-winning painter László Balogh, who is the doyen of Szentendre art life, exhibited over 200 of his paintings and graphic works at his life-work exhibition at the ArtMill of Szentendre in 2010. The displayed works made the artist’s oeuvre clear and understandable: His consistent career could be followed from his secondary school years through the ordeals of the world war as well as his development at the Old Artists’ Colony of Szentendre to his mature works, which have been imbued with deliberately taken pictorial and human responsibility from the beginning. In 2014, the Ferenczy Museum is presenting László Balogh’s latest works, which reflect the artist’s humble approach to painting and unique, no-frills constructivism. The mayor of Szentendre and the museum director emphasised László Balogh’s virtues as a painter and a human being and his role in community building in Szentendre. When preparing the exhibition, László Balogh asked me not to deal with the past and his previous paintings, in which he not only synthesises structural picture building logic and the world of organic forms, but also establishes a kind of dualism of styles by adjusting his artistic devices to the given subject. In his latest works, his shapes remain clear, but the creation of simple, homogeneous fields of colour is less important while experiencing poetry. Today, a given line doesn’t need to end precisely in the golden ratio, as it is the painter’s personality that gives emphasis to the composition.
