Diese Tatsache wird auch durch die Freilegungen im Komitat Nógrád widerspiegelt. In meiner Studie werden nur die im Zagyva-Tal durchgeführten Grabungen erörtert und dabei gezeigt, wie ein Teil der nationalen Denkmäler, die archäologischen Fundensembles sowohl in ihrer Maßen, als auch in ihrer Qualität sich vermehrten und welche wissenschaftlichen Ergebnisse der letzten zwei Jahrzehnten unser Wissen erweiterte.

Following the years of transition during excavations preceding major investments unimaginably larger areas have to be excavated in a very short time, compared to earlier periods. These mean challenges both for the archeologists on the field and in the follow-up work for the museums preserving and conserving the findings.

This is also reflected in Nógrád County. In this study only the work carried out in the Zagyva river valley is introduced briefly, indicating how the archeological part of the national cultural heritage, the findings, have increased in quantitative and qualitative terms in the past two decades, and what new scientific results have resulted due to the excavations.
