Irodalomtörténet - Fráter Zoltán: Táj, hagyomány, történet Krúdy két novellájában

ZOLTÁN FRÁTER REGION, TRADITION, STORY IN KRÚDY’S TWO SHORT STORIES This study is connected with Mihály Praznovszky’s literary investigations. Its main question how point of view of regional literature appears in Gyula Krúdy’s two short stories. (Titles of works: Last days of old inn and „I was his mistress once!”) According to Praznovszky, region awakens and preserves national and individual memory. Indeed, region as a behavioural, conversational, and self-expressing chance exists in these Krúdy works. The two short stories take place on ordinary sites: in old inn and court of pub. Krúdy’s two texts include his personal remembrances through the medium of irony and travesty. 214
