A Hajnóczy József Gimnázium, Humán Szakközépiskola és Kollégium hat évtizedes tevékenységeinek értékei Ferenczy György* The six-decade values of the activities of Hajnóczy Grammar School Human Vocational High School and Hall in Tiszaföldvár - The teaching staff, pupils and alumni commemorate the anniversaries relating to the founding of the institute and eponvm after the political system change. A scientific meeting was organized on the occasion of250th anniversary of József Hajnóczy' birth and 60th anniversary of the founding the school. Below the edited versions of three lectures from the two events are published. The lecture of Katalin Kovács, the then 11th b-grade student could be heard in 2000 on the commemoration of our eponym' birthday. She lectured on the founding of our school and its early years. Two other lectures in this publucation are from the scientific meeting in 2007 on the 60th anniversary of the founding the school. György Ferenc, the former director then, offers an overview of the six-decade values of the activities of the school, and János Bulla, the then 12th a-grade student, shows the role of the teachers and pupils of the school in the local events of the revolution in 1956. The lectures are based on authentic sources but not with the intend to publish them. Therefore we ask the dear reader take no notice of the lack of notes and references. The authors used the school annuals, school documents as prime sources. Among them the source material published in the 50th anniversary school annual bears exceptional significance. Bevezető A rendszerváltást követő két évtizedben a Hajnóczy József Gimnázium, Humán Szakközépiskola és Kollégium tanári kara, tanulóifjúsága és öregdiákjai rendre megemlékeztek az intézmény alapításával és a névadójával kapcsolatos kerek évfordulókról. Hajnóczy József születése 250. és az intézményalapítás 60. évfordulójának tiszteletére tudományos ülést szerveztünk. Alábbiakban a két rendezvény előadásai közül háromnak a szerkesztett változatát adjuk közre. Kovács Katalin, akkori 11. b osztályos tanuló előadása az iskola alapításának és első éveinek történetéről 2000-ben hangzott el, névadónk születésnapi megemlékezésén 2007-ben, a 60. évfordulón rendezett tudományos ülés előadásai közül kettőt szerkesztettünk bele jelen kiadványunkba. Az egyik előadásban Ferenczi György, — akkori igazgató — áttekintést ad az intézmény hat évtizedes tevékenységének értékeiről, a másikban Balla János — 2007-ben az iskola 12. a osztályos tanulója — bemutatja az iskola tanárainak és diákjainak az 1956-os forradalom és szabadságharc helyi eseményeiben való részvételét. Az előadások hiteles adatokra és megbízható beszámolókra alapulva készültek, de nem a megjelentetés célzatával.
