locr MALAKOLÓGIAI TÁJÉKOZTATÓ MALACOLOGICAL NEWSLETTER 1999 17:53-58 Adatok nagyrévi Zsidó-halom (Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok megye) felső-pleisztocén malakofaunájához Domokos Tamás Abstract: Coníribution to the knowledge of Late-Pleistocene malacofauna of Nagyrév, Zsidó-halom (JászNagykun-Szolnok county) Palaeoenvironmental reconstniction have been carried out by the author with the help of Mollusc fauna of Zsidó-halom, at Nagyrév (fig. 1. 2.). During the deposition of 3,5 m thick loess steppe with small groups of trees were dominant (fig. 3.). Deposition took place at the end of the Würm within the Punctum pygmaeum - Vestia turgida zonulae (18,000-16,000 years BP).Within the upper 1,5 m of the sediment author managed to detect significant cooling down with the help of the modified malaco-thermometer method (fig. 4.). Loess formation was closed by this cool and dry (sample B) later cool and wet (sample A) climate at the examined territory (fig. 3. 4.). The palaeo-temperature have been measured by two methods (modified malaco-thermometer method and malaco-thermometer method). The fluctuation of the detected temperature were similar in both cases.
