Győrffy István balkáni és törökországi kutatásai 297 the ethnological researches of Istvan Gyorffy on the Balkan and Turkey highlighting the historic, geographical and ethnical specific findings in Croatia, Dalmatia, Bosnia, Serbia and Bulgaria. The study points out the great importance of the 1916 ethnic map of Dobruja and the expedition to Asia Minor in 1918. By exploring and analyzingthe ethnic relations Istvan Gyorffy pointed out a new direction for the researches in Anthropogeography and for Ethnology which was forming new methods.
