GECSE ANNABELLA: „MEGSZERETTEM EZEN TANYAI VILÁGOT” Jóllehet beszélgetéseinknek ez sem volt tudatosított célja, de - az uradalomra fókuszálás ellenére - az élettörténet (-részlet) születése mögött meghúzódó fenti okok nagyon is jellemzik a szövegeket. Mégis úgy vélem, beszélgetéseink legfontosabb hozadéka az az egyszerű tény, hogy Kazinczy Klára emlékezete révén ismeretlen idő- és térbeli kisvilág vált valamennyire ismertté, valamennyire dokumentálttá. The old lady, who was 85 years old at the beginning of our series of interviews in 2012, had lived, until she was 10, on a manor known as Háy manor, which was located between Szolnok and Tószeg. She could recall her childhood years with surprising vivacity, not only the life of her contemporaries but that of the adults of the time. The then manor can still be identified on modern cadastral maps south of the middle section of the main communication road between Szolnok and Abony. According to the recollections of the “living sourse”, one part of the Háy family had lived in Budapest and the other in Abony; it was only the manor that had been located just outside Tószeg. The Kazinczy family was related to the estate since her father, Albert Kazinczy, was the overseer of the landed property. My source knew a number of members of the Háy family in person too. The area of roughly 500 hectares lives in the memory of Klára Kazinczy as an example of an ideal farm. Beyond the beauties of childhood, she keeps the memories of her life at that time alive contrasting the lifestyle of those living on the Háy manor with present day conditions describing the past as secure, predictable, close to nature, so in one word, almost ideal. Her recollections are supported by data from the archives, that shed light on the afterlife of the Háy homestead, the disappearance of large estates following the redistribution of land and the people who claimed land there. Although the memories of Klára Kazinczy are far from being fully detailed and objective, the picture of an unknown little rural world might be drawn. Translated by Dezső Darabont 179
