Ferenc Buschmann The macrolepidoptera collection in the Jász Múzeum of Jászberény The author of this study gives account of macrolepidoptera collection in the Jász Múzeum of Jászberény, which consist of 40625 specimens of 1217 species. Apart from some exceptions only Hungarian lepidoptera species can be found in the collection. These were mainly collected in around Jászberény and Jazygia between 1979 and 2009, but this paper also presents the finding places of specimens collected in the mountains Mátra and Bükk, or in other areas of Hungary, and the specimens from exchange connections. The author mentions several rare species, or of faunistic interest, which he has never published yet. Such as from the region of Jászberény: Aedia leucomelas, Cornutiplusia circumflexa, Chrysodeixis chalcites, Lacanobia blenna; from the mountains Mátra: Thera britannica, Acasis viretata, Ennomos quercaria, Bryophila muralis, Amphipyra perflua, Meganephria bimaculosa, Noctua interjecta, Xestia castanea;from the mountains Bükk: Lasiommata petropolitana, Alcis jubata, Phlogophora scita, Albocosta musiva, Euxoa birivia, Eurois occulta etc., of which he will report in a later study.
