The inscription discovered along the River Ongi in Mongólia in 1891 can correct with numerous data our knowledge of the last years of the 2nd Türk Khaganate. The inscription consists of 12 main lines completed with 7 additional lines. The text can be divided intő 4 sections. The sudy reviews, interprets the inscription and sets in its historical milieu. 45
