Tamás Szeniczey - Sándor Évinger ANTHROPOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF THE EARLY MODERNAGE HUMAN REMAINS FROM THE DORMÁND-HANYIPUSZTA SITE - DATA PUBLICATION We examined the remains of 11 Early Modern Age people from the Dormánd-Hanyipuszta site. We identified two adult males, one adult female, two juveniles and six children. There is a high ratio of newborns, since four of the children belonged to the neonate age group. The estimated age of the other two children is the first half of the Infans I category. The graves were situated at a distance of 1.5-2 km from the church. The reason for this separation cannot be pinpointed on the basis of the anthropological material. We did not identify any signs of injuries caused by armed conflicts. There were two cases of pathological changes caused by infectious diseases (Graves 3 and 4), however these were mild and are often seen in early remains. In spite of this, the cause of death may have been a short illness and/or a disease that did not result in osteological changes. 388
