The human skeletal remains were examined in 2015 at the Department of Anthropology of the Hungarian Natural History Museum. The first step was the identification of the skeletal parts, since they arrived in unmarked packages. By matching them to the drawings of the graves, the skull in Grave 1 and the skeletons in Graves 2 and 3 were identifiable. The postcrania in Grave 1 and the skeleton in Grave 4 were missing. The packaged materials also included a few animal bones and objects, as well as the scattered bone fragments of at least three people. The three skeletons that were suitable for exanimation were those of a child belonging to the Infans I age category and two adult females. I did not find any traumatic injuries, extreme pathological changes or unique anatomical variations in any of them. Both females can be classified as brachycran Europid types. Although the small number of skeletal elements alone does not allow us to conduct comparative analyses, when examined together with cemeteries selected along the right criteria, it can contribute to the better understanding of the period and the area’s population, as well as the origin of these people. 265
