9. sír: férfi, adultus (35-39), hiányos koponya és váz. Facies symphysialis rajzolata alapján 35-39 év. A koponya morfológiailag valószínűleg cromagnoid típusú. Corpus mandibulae fordított „T” rajzolta kifejezett.

ANTHROPOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE FINDS AT THE NAGYRÉDE - RAGYOGÓ PART AVAR PERIOD SITE

In 1967 and 1980, at the Nagyréde - Ragyogópart site a team led byjános Győző Szabó unearthed 28 graves that can be dated at the Avar period (mid. 7th century - first quarter of the 8th century). A classic anthropological examination was conducted on the skeletal remains of 22 individuals (10 children and juveniles) and 12 adults (l 1 males and 4 females, including the juveniles). From the taxonomic point of view, the adults show both Europid and Mongolid features. The number of pathological cases is low and the diseases detected were not severe. The primary importance of studying the material lies in the identification of the Mongolid traits and the comparison of the various Mongolid morphological features.
