Livable Tradition With Toys. Folk Games on Adult Education and Children Activities of the Hungária Heritage House

The aim of Hungarian Heritage House is to introduce cultural heritage - especially folk music, dance, customs, poetry and crafts - as liveable tradition for people living in 21st century. Teaching field plays and traditional games both for youth and adults (teachers and other specialsts) are very important parts of this effort.

In our educational program folklore (including above mentioned games and plays) is integrated into the activities of kids and youth. This part of any cultural heritage can be used as the instrument of- giving knowledge- esthetical education- socialisation and emotional education.

We organise courses, conferences, workshops and publish methodological material for specialists working in education and field of culture. How we earn dissemination of achieved results, first of all best practices.
