Levente Ábrahám - Xinli Wang: Dendroleon fukoeki sp. n. from Laos (Neuroptera: Myrmeleontidae)

These SE Asian and Australian species of these genera need further revision. The unknown larvae and inadequately known of different gender make this even more difficult. Several names are nomen nudum (e.g. Dendroleon rottensis Statz, 1936) or synonyms ( STANGE 2004). According to WANG Z.-l. & WANG X.-l. (2008), Dendroleon perlistigma Wan & Wang in Wan et al., 2004 is synonym of Dendroleon longicruris (C.-k. Yang, 1986); Dendroleon melanocoris C.-k. Yang, 1997 and Dendroleon tripunctatus C.-k. Yang in C.-k. Yang & X.-l. Wang, 2002 are synonyms of Layahima elegáns (Banks, 1937) (WAN et al. 2006). Dendroleon javanus Banks, 1914 is supposed to be a junior synonym of Bullanga floridus Navás, 1913 (WANG Z.-l. & WANG X.-l. 2008). Description of the new species Dendroleon fukoeki sp. n. (Fig. 1.)
