choir, the school, the refectory, the monastic cells located on the second floor and the crypt of the monastery as well were completed by 1737. The monks moved in November 1735, in 1736 the residence gained Convent status. The plague of 1739 stopped construction works for a while, the next data available about further extension of the monastery were recorded in 1741. From 1742, guests cells were constructed for superiors of the order and other notabilities, completed by 1744. In the 1740s a facility building complex was completed with bakery, shed, barn and several storage areas, moreover, the laboratory for the monastery's pharmacy established in 1749 was housed here. In 1746 the bishop prohibited use of the already dilapidated church of St. Adalbert and its function was assigned to the Capuchin church. In 1757 the new parish church was dedicated, and since then the monastery church has been able to operate according to its original functions. Its dedication took place only after then, in 1759. 176
