The censuses provide us with further information about Samuel Haller's other properties in the town. When he died on 7th November 1777, aged 84, the properties he had assembled were divided up amongst his three daughters. The name Haller died out in Gyöngyös, the properties ending up in the hands of the Bruderns, the Berényis, the Hunyadys and then the Orczys and the Horváths. 443
