STEFFEK, L: Molluscs (Mollusca) of the Morava river basin in Slovakia: Present state of the molluscs fauna

Explanations: P - locality density in Morava River Floodplain: I - know only one locality; II - know few localities; III - discontinuous distribution; IV - common species; RBS - Red Data Book of Slovakia (Steffek, 1994): Endangered (E) - Molluscs occurring at present in Slovakia at one or several localities, but which, if not protected, are in danger of extinction. Vulnerable (V) - Species found with declining frequency, in localities which are vanishing, or for which fewer than ten localities are know. Rare (R) - Species with their limits of distribution within Slovakia, species which, thought not immadiately threately threatened, nevertheless may be associated with endemics or which are important in terms of zoogeography. Indeterminete (I) - Taxa, know to be "Endangered", "Vulnerable", or "Rare" but where there in not enough information to say which of the three categories is appropriate. Of special concern (S) - Taxa that are still widespread or relatively abundant, but have undergone an observable decline and are potentially threatened.
