Belonging to the painters of the Great Plain were Gyula Rudnay, István Nagy, Kálmán Gáborjáni Szabó, a citizen of Debrecen, and Miklós Káplár (the painter of Hortobágy), who lived in Hajdúböszörmény. Joining them, on the grounds of one of their periods, are Endre Vadász and László Félegyházi. Each of the following painters is represented in the Museum by one painting: Jenő Barcsay, Frigyes Frank, Róbert Berény, Vladimir Szabó. All of them are decisive personalities of the 20th century, whose life work and teaching esert great influence on our contemporaries. In addition to the paintings we can see in the Museum graphic works, water colours by István Szőnyi, Lajos Kassák, Béla Uitz, Jenő Gadányi, Tibor Bakoss, Zoltán Maghy coins by Sándor Mikus, Pál Patzay, Fülöp Ö. Beck, József Reményi, sculptures by Ferenc Medgyessy, János Pásztor, Béla Löffler, Barna Megyeri. 92
