Természettudomány - Ködöböcz Viktor: A debreceni Déri Múzeum futóbogár (Coleoptera Carabidae) gyűjteménye
Ködöböcz Viktor REVISION OF THE CARABID (COLEOPTERA: CARABIDAE) COLLECTION OF THE DÉRI MUSEUM, DEBRECEN The carabid collection in the Déri Museum is owing to the works of János Ötvös. He sampled carabid beetles mainly in Hajdú-Bihar county in the 60-ies and 70-ies. In the collection 236 carabid species were labelled originally. However, in the case of four species synonym names were used, so, actually there were only 232 species in the collection. 102 species out of the 232 species were determined correctly, while the determination of the remaining 130 species was not proper. After the revision, there were 5120 individuals belonging to 275 species sampled from 45 localities in the carabid collection. 12 species out of the 275 species were sampled outside Hungary. In the collection there are 18 notable carabid species. Out of these 18 species, Stenolophus pmximus DEJEAN, 1829, which has pontokaspi distribution, is the most important. The specimen of this species in the collection is the only proof for its occuiTence within the present border of Hungary. 121
