Different versions of it are obtainable and some of them appear in museums as well as their pictures can be found in textbooks. However, many of these reconstructions were built with unsuitable application of several physical principles.In this article, on the base of simple experiments and physical assumptions, I investigate those principles that are necessary to be taken into account in the constraction of a reflex bow in good working order. 70
