The specimens of the collection were collected from 1952 to 1975. The families of aquatic beetles have undergone major revision, so it was needed to revise the specimens. In the aquatic Coleoptera collection of Déri Museum 1296 specimens belonging to 39 genera and 111 species are deposited (Haliplidae 10, Dystiscidae 45, Noteridae 2, Gyrinidae 3, Sper­cheidae 1, Hydrochidae 3, Helophoridae 9, Hydrophilidae 38 spp.). This article presents 823 faunistic data of these species. More than 95 percentage of the collecting localities are in Hajdú­Bihar county (Balmazújváros, Debrecen, Derecske, Egyek, Esztár, Haláp, Hencida, Hortobágy, Kornádi, Konyár, Mikepércs, Nyíradony, Ohat, Pocsaj, Püspökladány, Sáránd, Téglás, Tisza­csege, Újiráz) and there are some specimens from Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg (Bátorliget, Csaroda), Békés (Biharugra), Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén (Bükk, Kőkapu) and Zala county (Hévíz). Interesting faunistical results of this revision the occurrence of Haliplis maculatus MOT­SCHULSKY, 1860, Helophorus liguricus ANGUS, 1970 and Hydrochara dichroma (FAIR­MAIRE, 1892). 16
