Zoltán Czier RESEARCH HISTORY AND BIBLIOGRAPHY OF THE LIASSIC FLORA FROM BANAT AND PARTIUM The Liassic flora localities of Banat- and Partium (western Romania) are situated in the Danubian autochton (fifteen localities) are situated in the Danubian autochton (fifteen localities) and Getic region (five localities) of the Southern Carpathians, and in the Bihor autochton (four localities) of the Apuseni Mountains (Fig. 1, Tab. 1). The most important studies, containing cescriptions and figurations of the liassic macroflora species, are the papers of Andrae (1855), Krasser (1916), Semaka (1962 a, 1962/ 1968 b, 1969, 1970 b), Humml (1969), Doludenko (1971), Givulescu (1990 c, 1991, 1992 a, 1992 c), Czier (1994, 1995 a, 1995 c, 1996 b), Barbacka (1994 a). The principal studies concerning the liassic microflora, are published by Lu{ä (1968), Antonescu (1973), E. Popa et al. (1977), Nästäseanu and Cernjavska (1980). The papers forming the bibliography of the liassic flora of the region, comprising 133 titles, are listed in the references. 19
