ba, Ribes rubrum ssp. sylvestre, Thalictrum aquilegiifolium, etc. This not too wide oak stripe is the last refuge of the biggest population of M. botryoides in the NY. Unfortunetely, according to our experience it can be even hardly found in the phytogeographical unit. Generative artificial propagation and resettling are very important part of our effort. (The area is luckily involved in the Natural Preserve.) !,!!! Bátorliget (Fényi Forest: around Körmely) Rob. (originally Conv.-Q.) Some specimens, sporadially. !,!!! Guthi Forest (Külső-Gúth) Fest.-Q., Conv.-Q. Some specimens (about 25-30) sporadically, on some places even more (on the basis of verbal information of I. Fintha.) !! Yucca filamentosa L. NY., Debrecen (Nagyerdő). Rob. (originally Conv.-Q.) 1 specimen. Escape, being forced under the trees can not flower. AMARYLLIDACEAE ! Galanthus nivalis L. Bátorliget (Láperdő) at the border of Conv.-Q. and Fr.p.-U., some specimens. It has not been reported, but anthropogen advention is also possibile. Extinct in the Nagyerdő! (Soó, 1953 Rakonczay, 1987) !! Narcissus poeticus L. NY., Bagamér (Daruláp) Arrh., margin of Conv.-Q. Several, 3-4 + 2 smaller groups, escape and spontaneous spreading. Whole life-cycle is visible. Bagamér (edge of Daruhegy) Rob. (Originally Fest.-Q.) 7-8 groups, escape from farms. IRIDACEAE (!) !!! Crocus reticulatus Stev. ex. Adam NY. Paci Forest (oak forest of Pac and its surrounding) (Soó, 1934 Máthé, 1943) Fest.-Q. and Rob. (Originally Fest.-Q.) 10-11000 specimens. In most of the literature (Soó-Jávorka, 1951) denotation of Hosszúpályi is wrong, because the plant does not occur in the neighbourhood of this village. The large stripe population meets the road between Debrecen-Hosszúpályi at two : at two places of the Paci Forest (monument of Captain Szarka and the Panorama Road) and at the so-called Vaskapu sand-hill. As I have already mentioned, this population could be continuous (as much as several hundred thousand individuals) from the rest-house at Pac through the Vaskapu-Mézeshegyi Lake, the Mézes-Hill Forest and the southern forest of Bánk to sand-hill around the Kenderesi-farm, at Szárcsás Stream, to the north of the ATEV. (The latter was found by verbal report of I. Lánszki.) Today it occurs only on the first place, at the. ! Vaskapu sand-hill (1500-2000), at the Mézeshegyi Lake (about 1500-2000), in oak and robinia forests around the guard-house of Mézes-Hill (Fest.-Q., Conv.-Q., Rob.) and at the Kenderesi-farm. (1500-1600). Up to now the latter habitats have been unknown. (!) !!! Observation of L. Gergely and his son (Gergely-Gergely, 1988) is interesting. Seems to be a former population isolation, similarly to that of Szamosszeg. Rob. ( Soó-Jávorka, 1951) (Originally Fest-Q.) Today there can be about 20-22000 specimens in the Soth-NY, but they are endangered due to the extremely intensive forest culture (showing down of the soil by trunks). In addition, no subpopulation can be found on protected areas or areas of Natural Reserve of Hajdúság (Since last year several thousand individuals could have been destroyed by cutting in oak forests around the Mézeshegyi Lake.
