A graphic representation of the factor scores of the males (Factor 1 and Factor 2) To the question put on at the beginnings of the examinations the following answer could be given: the skeletal finds of the Körös-Cris culture and those of the Starcevo culture could be clearly separated. The distinction between them could be pointed out excellently by the help of a factor analysis that was based on the correlation matrix, whereas the simple arrangement of the untransformed basic data (cranial measurements) could not differentiate as it had been required. These results refer to the advantages of the cognition of factor structure. 27
