Tanulmányok - Kőrösi Andrea: A Mosonszentmiklós–Gyepföld dűlőben végzett ásatás állatcsot anyagának értékelése

ARRABONA 39. 2001. TANULMÁNYOK Aszt Agnes: Preliminary report on the archeological researches carried out at the area of Gyepföldek Dűlő in Mosonszentmiklós From the middle of September 2000 to the middle of December excavations were carried out at the intensive findspot ruined by building construction works, situated 20km from Mosonmagyaróvár to the South-east in uncertain legal and financial circumstances. In the documenting stage we registered 627 objects, from which 183 were excavated. Part of the excavated objects may be linked to the early bronze age Makó-Kosihy-Caka culture, from which period the shallow ditch-pair is the most significant. Besides the sporadic Celtic settlements, another more intensive horizon of ours was a village from the Arpadian age between the XII and XIV century. Houses, ditches, clamps, holes and a well belongs to this horizon. Apart from the traditional archaeological methods we involved natural scientific observations during the excavations such as: Dendrochronological, Archeolzoological and Archeobotanical examinations. 234
