The castle has a closed courtyard, is two-storied with a square trace and four towers with moulding and has gabled roofs above the palace wings. In the eastern palace wing a chapel with a sanctuary was built that with its polygonal termination springs out of the wa -face. The ground flour served first of all economic purposes. The representative dwelling level could be approached from the circular gallery in the courtyard. One of the staircases started from the SW corner of the yard, the other stood in front of the north wing. (Fig, 2.) The 325 m 2 hall of the knights was on the second floor of the two-storied north palace wing. (The well remained unchanged on its place in the SE corner of the yard even after the reconstruction!)
