Figure 1: Fragment from a Dreihausen type vessel, sample one from Székesfehérvár—Sziget. Spectra are taken from glazed side (upper spectrum) and clay side (lower spectrum). Both of them show that potassium and Iron are present in the spectra because of diffusion during firing. As in sample two, the rate of the Aluminum and Silicium peaks are nearly the same. The two spectra overlap at Aluminum and Silicium. 182
