Urn, in the western half of the grave. Fragmentary, it may have had a concavely arched neck and a compressed globular body. Bowl, found standing in the mouth of the urn. A one-handled shape with flaring neck and rim, a globular body. H: 8 cm; RD: 24 cm: BD 5,6 cm. (PI. Ill no. 2.) Jug, found standing at the southern side of the urn. A one-handled shape with an arched neck, flaring rim and globular body. H: 7 cm. (PL III no. 4.) Urn, having stood in the northern half of the grave, wholly decayed. Jug, having stood beside the entirely decayed urn. A small, one-handled, beakershaped vessel with a slightly arched neck and an extended globular body. H: 8 cm. (PL III no. 3.) Grave-goods are completed by the fragment of a small bronze tube. Grave 12. — (Inv. no. 62.12.1-2.) Rite: urn-crema­tion. Depth: 68 cm. The grave has been disturbed by a modern ditch. Urn, much compressed, its shape cannot be recons­tructed. Jug, having stood at the side of the urn, A small one-handled vessel with a flaring rim, arched neck and globular body. H: 8 cm; BD 2,5 cm. (PL III no. 5.) Crave 13. — (Inv. no. 62.13.1-3.) Rite: urn-crema­ition. Depth: 80 cm. The shape of the grave-pit could not be observed. Urn, the shape of a double truncated cone, with flaring rim and neck. A plastic rib, showing a stroke-ornament, runs round its shoulder and bulge. H: 46 cm; RD: 23,5 cm; BD: 13 cm. (PL III no. 6.) Bowl, found standing in the mouth of the urn. The rim is flaring, the shoulder meets the hemis­pherical lower part in a sharp bend. The shoulder is bridged by four handles. Jug, having stood at the eastern side of the urn. A small vessel with a slightly arched neck and a globular body. One-handled. H: 7 cm; RD: 6,5 cm; BD: 2,5 cm. (PL III no. 7.) Grave 14. — (Inv. no. 62.14.1-2.) The grave has an urn-cremation rite. Depth: 75 cm. Urn, lacking the neck and shoulder. Its shape used to be a compressed globe probably, it has a small pedestal. H: 22 cm; BD: 11,5 cm. (PL IV. no. 1.) Jug, found in the urn. A one-handled shape with an arched neck, a slightly flaring rim, a globular body. Fragmentary. (PL IV no. 2.) Grave 15. — (Inv. no. 62.15.1-10.) Rite: urn-crema­tion, Depth: 80 cm. Urn, uncovered in a much decayed state. Bowl, found in the mouth of the urn. It has a strongly flaring rim and neck, a body like a trun­cated cone. A stroke-ornament is running round the protrusion of the shoulder. H: 10,5 cm; RD: 28 cm; BD: 7,5 cm. (PL IV no. 3.) Small urn, found standing in the covering bowl. Much decayed, its shape cannot be reconstructed. There was a rather large pebble inside. Suspension vessel, having stood at the northern side of the urn. It has a funnel-shaped neck and a body of a compressed double truncated cone-shape. There are two warts for suspension on the shoulder. H: 8 cm; BD: 5 cm. (PL IV no. 4.) Jug, having stood beside the urn, Very fragmentary. Bronze jewels, found in the suspension vessel. 3 The material of the grave is exposed in the Director's Office, Ercsi—Sinatelep State Farm. (On account of this fact no photographs or measures could be taken.) a) Bronze plaques of oblong and trapezoid shapes, with rolled edges. 17 pieces. (PL IV nos 5 to 10.) b) 3 spiral trinkets. (PL V nos 1 to 3.) c) 19 tiny spiral tubes. (PL V nos 4 to 17.) d) 19 small tubes of plaques. (PL V nos 18 to 30.) e) 44 bronze but­tons. (PL V nos 31 to 45.) Grave 16. — (Inv. no. 62.16.1.) Its rite could not be observed. Depth: 40 cm. A grave entirely devasta­ted by deep ploughing. Except a few sherds the finds became annihilated. Grave 17. — (Inv. no. 62.17.1-3) Rite: urn-crema­tion. Depth: 64 cm. The grave has been much dis­turbed by deep ploughing, Urn, uncovered in a fragmentary state. Its shape could not be reconstructed any more. Bowl, just a few fragments could be collected in the mouth of the urn. Jug, uncovered at the south-eastern side of the urn. Group II. (Fig. 2.) Grave 1. — (Inv. no. 62.1.1.) Rite: urn-cremation. The finds have been wholly annihilated in course of the earthworks, just a few bronze jewels could be preserved of them. (PL I nos 1—3.) Grave 6. — (Inv. no. 62.6.1-3.) Rite: urn-cremation. The finds of discovery are uncertain. Urn, one-handled, with a flaring rim and a globu­lar body. H: 39 cm; RD: 25 cm; BD: 10,5 cm. (PL II no. 1.) Bowl, having stood in the mouth of the urn. Jug, found at the side of the urn. An arched biconical shape with a flaring rim and one handle. H: 8 cm; RD: 6 cm. (PL II no. 3.) Group III. (Fig, 3.) Grave 2. — (Inv. no. 62.2.1-2.) Rite: urn-cremation. Urn, very fragmentary. It may have had a concavely arched neck, a flaring rim and a globular body probably. RD: 30 cm. (PL I no. 4.) Bowl, found standing in the mouth of the urn. It has the shape of a Swedish helmet. H: 7 cm; RD: 23 cm; BD: 5 cm. (PL I no. 5.) Grave 3. — (Inv. no. 62.3.1-3.) Rite: urn-cremation. Urn, an extended globular body with a slightly flaring rim. H: 52 cm; RD: 30 cm; BD: 11 cm. Bowl, placed in the mouth of the urn. Its shape is unknown. Jug, found beside the urn in a somewhat slanting position. One-handled with a flaring neck and rim and a globular body. H: 6,5 cm; RD: 5 cm; BD: 2,5 cm. (PL I no. 6.) Grave 4. — (Inv. no. 62.4.1-7.) Rite: urn-cremation. 3 Urn, double truncated cone-shaped, a plastic, finger­impressed rib ornament running round its bulge. Bowl, placed in the mouth of the urn. Fragmen­tary. Suspension vessel, found beside the urn. It has a flaring rim, a concavely arched neck, a compres­sed globular body. Two perforated warts sit on its shoulder. Incrusted ornament. Jug, uncovered standing at the side of the urn. Bronze jewels, unearthed in the suspension vessel. Bronze shovel-headed pins, placed beside the urn. (2 pieces.) Group IV. (Fig. 4.)
