The finds were held together in the Szekszárd Museum, a part of them was also inventoried later. Our survey presents the Early Bronze Age finds avail­able in the Museum till 1D56 and actually existent now. 1. The fragment of a water-jar, with a cyl­indrical neck 'and a swollen ring-shaped rim. It is brown, the neck is smooth, the belly slightly furrowed, scarb­rous (PL XV no. 2). 2. A one-handled b о w 1 with a splayed rim fragmentary (PL XV no. 1). 3. A biconical bowl with a straightly erect rim and a small strap handle (PL XV no. 3). 4. A Ibiconioal jug with a high upper part and a large strap handle (PL XV no. 4). 5. A biconical jug with a small handle below the rim (PL XV no. 5). 6. The fragment of a high cylindrical beaker (PL XV no. 6). 7. A so-called suspension vase with two small wart, lugs, standing on a low support. On the belly an orna­ment of triangles furrowed oppositely to each other (PL XV no. 7). Height: 9 cm. Inv. no. B. 132, 933, 2849. 8. The fragment of a high biconical j u g (PL XV no. 8). 9. The fragment of a one-handled jug with a compressed globular body (PL XV no. 9). Height: 13,3 cm. Inv. no. B. 132, 933, 2842. 10. A cup (PL XV no. 10). 11. The fragment of a high biconical one-handled jug (PL XV no. 11). Height: 12,5 cm. Inv. no. B" 132, 933, 2843. 12. A deep bowl with an arched side (PL XV no. 12). 16. A pedestalled dish, with a horizintal furrow­ed ornament, incised from within and without (PL XV no. 13). 17. The fragment of a biconical j u g of a smaller size (PL XV no. 14). 18. A biconical jug with a large strap handle. It is annihilated, only the photograph is preserved (PL XV no. 15). Inv. no. G er jen— Várad puszta (Tolna county) A Bronze Age tell of several layers, raising from the wide inundation area of the Danube. Of the finds the following may belong to our group :*­12 Several pieces are presented by M. WOSINSZKY: Tolna vármegye története (The History of Tolna County) (Buda­pest 1896) vol. I; nos 6 and 22 (PI. 19 nos 1-2), nos 9, 19 and 21 (Pl. 87 nos 2, 5-6), nos 7 and 13 (Pl. 91 nos 1, 6). 1. A cylindrical beaker, with one small handle on each side. (Fig 1 no. 4). 2. A smaller similar one. (Fig 1 no. 5). Szedres — Genes puszta (Tolna county) A settlement raising from the inundation area of the Sárvíz. Scattered finds derived from here are presented by M. Wosinszky. 15 1. a bulgy one­h an died jug (Fig. 1 no. 1). Height: 19 cm. 2. A cylindrical beaker, with two small handl­es on the irim (PL'XV no. 20 and Fig. 1 no. 2). Height: 18 cm. Simongát (Somogy county) Finds in the Hungarian National Museum, derived from a settlement: 16 1. A biconical one-handled jug with a--high upper part. (Fig. 1 no. 6). 2. The fragment of a rough two-handled store­j a r , decorated with a stab-and-drag line of dots between the handles. (Fig 1 no. 7). Pécsvárad (Baranya county) In a hillside at a distance of 1 km to the south of the village the following complex has been found (Janus Pannonius Museum, Pécs): 1. A store-jar with a fragmentary rim, splayed slightly outwards (PL XVI no. 14). Height: 16 cm. Inv. no. 7118/1. 2. A one-handled jug with a globular body (PL XVI no. 17). Height: 14 cm. Inv. no. 7118/2. 3. A biconical bowl with an upright rim, a small handle on the bulge (PL XVI no. 16). Inv. so. 7118/3. 4. A j u g (PL XVI no. 15). Inv. no. 7118. 4. Kökény (Baranya county) In course of a field survey G. Bandi has gathered a fragment of a characteristic biconica] one-handl­ed j u g with a high upper part here. Unpublished,, in the Pécs Museum. Erzsébet (Baranya county) A biconical о n e - h a n d led jug from a humati­on grave in the Janus Pannonius Museum, Pécs. Inv.. no. 1963, 1,1. The friendly communication of A. Kiss. Szentlőrinc (Baranya county) A biconical one-handled jug from the part of the locality called Melegoldal. The rim is frag­mentary. Height: 14 cm. Janus Pannonius Museum,, Pécs. Inv. no. 12/1942. Mágocs (Baranya county) Zók and Somogyvár type fragments in a settle­ment between Kispuszta and Falugyörgyi. The fragment of a biconical jug, with .an ornament of an incis­ed bundle of zigzag lines on the side, is important. Pécs Museum. The friendly communication of G.. Bandi. Pécs (Baranya county) An undecorated high cylindrical beaker came to the collection of L. Juhász, hence to the Pécs Museum from the Keleti Mountain.
