Talán a legszebb fénykép az építésről. Négy részletből összeillesztett panorámafotó, jobb alsó sarkában Rohrbach dombornyomású pecsétje: „Photographie von Anton Rohrbach in Szegedin". Balra a Szent Dömötör templom tornya és a Báck-malom kéménye. A folyóparton látjuk a teherpályaudvarról ide vezetett iparvágányokat és a korabeli váltóállító berendezéseket. A földön különféle sínvasak vannak elraktározva, illetve megfigyelhető a küllős kerekű tehervagonok kirakodására szolgáló falazott rámpa. A viadukt félig elkészült, és a főtartók is helyükön vannak az első három nyílásban. A negyedik pillérre felszerelték a négyzet keresztmetszetű acélszekrényt, míg az ötödik pillért most keszonozzák, a kompresszor épp kifújja a fáradt gőzt. Nagyrészt elkészült az újszegedi hídfő is, lóvontatású szekér áll előtte, ketten a túloldalon horgásznak. A szegedi rakparton a „Wien" gőzhajó pihen, előtte fehér ruhás férfi áll. A háttérben újszegedi munkásbarakkok láthatók, a nyárfák között pedig parasztházak a mai Gabonatermesztési Kutató Kht. főépülete helyén.

Probably the best image of the construction project. Panorama constructed from four separate images. At the right corner may be seen the embossed seal of Rohrbach: 'Photographic von Anton Rohrbach in Szegedin'. Bell of the Saint Demetrius church and the chimney of the Back-mill is on the left. On the river bank the industrial railways originating from the goods-station and the switching equipment are visible. Flatiron on the ground and the slope built to unload carriages is visible. The viaduct is half ready and the first three main girders are in place. The square shaped steel construction of the fourth pillar is ready, the fifth pillar is under caissoning, the compressor is discharging steam. The abutment on the Újszeged bank is almost ready. A horse-drawn carriage stands in front of it, while two people fish on the other bank. The steamer 'Wien' is on the loading dock in the Szeged bank, a man dressed in white stands in front of it. Worker's accommodation on the Újszeged side is visible at the background. Beside this, peasant houses among aspens stand in the place where the Cereal Research Non-Profit Company is today.
