Raymundus Parthenopeis A short, easy and useful set of laws

Raymundus Parthenopeis, an author who lived in the 13th century, compiled a book of laws for his sons. In the work divided according to the Justinian’s Institutes, people, things, and court actions were placed in a different book. He placed the rules on criminal law in the third volume, of which we made the translations of chapters from XXXXI1 to XXXIX. In these sections the author describes the rules on robbers, kidnappers of virgins, highwaymen, arsonists, the usury, the crime of fraud, prophets and fortune tellers, and the rules of the murders, as well as the penalties that apply to them.
