Data for the Makó years of sculptor, Sándor Gergely

Sándor Gergely (1889-1932) the activist sculptor was one of the greatest figures of 20th century Hungarian sculpture. He was born in Hódmezővásárhely, but he became conscious, was raised and spent 27 years in Makó. This study selects from the events of the Makó years (the art apprentice, the heroic monument of the World War II) with the publication of unknown family photographs.
