BOGOLY JÓZSEF ÁGOSTON A tájtörténeti tér ökológiája The ecology of the landscapes history area Historical Reconstruction of the windmill in Csókás The role of museums and memorials is expanding. In the relationship between man and his environment, eco-critical thinking develops important competences in cultural and natural sciences. The original location of the Csókás windmill at the border of Makó, some details of the structure and history of the windmill, will receive a memorial historical illumination from multiple points of views. The original building of the Csókás windmill was built between the years 1855 and 1860. In the middle of the 20th century, due to the transformation of the county boundary, Csanád county ceased to exist and the original site of the windmill belonged to Békés County. The Csókás windmill was later disassembled and shipped to Békéscsaba, where it was rebuilt on the Gabona (Grain) Museum's outdoor exhibition grounds. With its internal space refecting the grinding process together with its wooden rotating parts, the windmill from the farmsteads near Makó can be seen in Békéscsaba, and it is considered a museum attraction. The reconstructed Csókás windmill is a model example of historical-cultur- al-ecological value preservation. During and after seeing the windmill, a visitor will become an understanding-processing-creating thinker. As a result of the things seen, a creative rearrangement could begin in the world of the recipient. A specific pattern of memory emerges. The process of becoming a symbolic message begins. The memorial pattern created in the museum visitor, which is filled with feelings and moods, can be explored with the creative writing literary tools of using museum pedagogical tools and with eco-critical writing. The windmill once at Csókás, today in Békéscsaba, can become a venue for presentations and performances in the spirit of a communicative approach for environmentally-friendly open-sky school programs, drama pedagogical and museum sessions, as well as introducing cultural heritage. 386
