MEDGYESI KONSTANTIN Diszkurzív csomópontok a koalíciós évek demokrácia-diskurzusaiban Discursive nodes in the democracy discourses of the coalition years Characters of public life create political reality through the structures of the language. Discourse political science basically states that politics has areas where politicization is crowded; these can be called discursive nodes. Around the discursive nodes distinctive slices of political reality can be determined. At discursive nodes, the speech acts of a complex political situation compose speech situations: the sum of all events in time and space form a discursive node. In this paper we examine the text panels of the three discursive nodes of the coalition period (1945-1948). In our first approach, time segments create nodes. In two periods, in February-March of 1946, and in May-June of 1947, we look at the linguistic-political struggle of smallholders and communists to own the concept of democracy. The second and third discursive nodes, on the other hand, do not intersect political reality on the basis of timelines, but create a tangled political communication field from the point of view of the particular spaces: in parliamentary debates and inter-party meetings as special forums for power, we analyze the various speech situations and linguistic structures. 212
